Creating a Morning Routine for Your Preschooler

Creating a Morning Routine for Your Preschooler

As a working parent, you may find mornings quite hectic. If your child is starting preschool at a Montessori preschool in Maryland, you must establish a different morning routine to help them and yourself adjust to the changes.

For you to keep your mornings organized, make a list of tasks that you need to accomplish, like making breakfast, packing your child’s snacks, and grooming your child. You can put the checklist on your phone or stick it on your fridge.

It can also help if you finish as many tasks as possible the night before. That way, your morning is smooth as you help prepare your child before you send them off to their Montessori school in Jessup, Maryland

For instance, you can prepare your preschooler’s school uniform before bedtime and hang them in an area where you can locate them quickly. Also, you need to ascertain that you replenish the snacks in your snack bar so you can pack them along with their lunches.

Since your child needs to wake up early for Montessori daycare, you must not let them stay up late at night. That way, they can get enough sleep and have the energy to participate in the daycare programs.
